Mapping Artistic Solidarity for Palestine

Platform BK invites Remove the Dot to host a co-working session and informal gathering with art workers and activists to reflect on recent pro-Palestine actions and boycotts in cultural and public spaces: what has worked, where have we fallen short, and how to strengthen our networks to avoid fragmentation and consolidate our strategies towards affective aims?

During the session, the duo Saja Amro and Wassila Abboud will share the first iteration of a thematic counter-map they have been developing, which traces institutions, grassroots initiatives, and self-organized spaces positioned at different points of action and refusal. The map is a materialisation of responses gathered through a recent survey which Platform BK has circulated all over The Netherlands. This session is a key step towards refining and building upon that input, focusing on Amsterdam as a start.
