We are excited to welcome Kiki into our small team, to strengthen our communication tools and amplify the work we are doing in public, as well as behind the scenes.
Kiki Keukenkamp has a background in art school (HKU) and art history, specialising in design: listening, researching, recognising patterns, and translating them into concrete ideas. She works as a strategist, art director and interior designer on campaigns, identities and exhibitions, and runs two Amsterdam based studio’s: @doorkiki & @hetb.uro.
“Makers have the power to open up worlds. They shift perspectives and make social questions tangible — all the more so in a world where complex questions are becoming ever more urgent. At the same time I know how vulnerable the position of a maker can be, which is why it matters that their experiences and obstacles are heard.”
As communication lead she will start by looking at who the association reaches today and where the gaps are, beginning with the members themselves: what do you need in order to feel addressed?
