Marianna Stefanitsi (she/her) is an interdisciplinary practitioner working across research, art, and communication. Her practice centers on creative labor, art institutions, media, and intersectional feminism. She engages with both the affective and structural dimensions of artistic production and practices, working through writing, installation, and collaborative formats.
Currently, she focuses on artistic mobility and the ways artists navigate precarious conditions within institutional contexts, especially in the framework of residency programs. She is drawn to Platform BK’s multidirectional work and shared resources, using this space to explore how artistic mobility is understood, experienced, and valued in contemporary art practice. Her research also traces how mobility intersects with broader questions of transnational collaboration, locality, temporality, and the situated struggles and resistant forms that shape artistic work today.
Since 2019, she has been a core member of the Centre of New Media and Feminist Public Practices, contributing to various research initiatives. In parallel, she participates in exhibitions, residencies, and public programs.
