After years of discussions, Fair Pay was made mandatory last week for institutions that receive a subsidy through the basic infrastructure (BIS) in the next BIS period 2025-2028.
This is good news for better working conditions and that the State Secretary is taking responsibility for institutions financed by the government.
There are still steps to be taken on how this will be implemented and enforced.
