On the 19th of December 2020, Platform BK’s Koen Bartijn took part in the roundtable discussion [HOW TO GET PAID] of Art Workers Italia (AWI). He spoke with Unge Kunstneres Samfund (Norway), Trabajadores De Arte Contemporáneo (Argentina and Chile), and Smart (Belgium) about strategies and practices of solidarity, what we can learn from one another, and how to successfully push for institutional change.

Koen Bartijn (1992) is a dramaturg, active researcher, and arts initiator in both visual- and performance art. Currently, he creates his own art productions as a member and founder of the performance collective Antidote — and from 2020 to 2023, he formed the core team of Platform BK with Sepp Eckenhaussen.
