‘Hey! I’m Martina Denegri, 22. Originally from Italy, four years ago I found the place I now call my home in Groningen. I’m a student of International Communication at the Hanze University of Applied Sciences. I’ve been passionate about art since I can remember but given the artistic skills of a toddler. But that never stopped me from pursuing collaborations with artists and eventually build WILLOW, my own digital art gallery for emerging local artists (coming soon!). Writing is the other passion that accompanied me so far: countless never-finished stories are scribbled on any available scrap of paper in my room. I’m happy to start my journey with Platform BK as an intern. Building bridges between art and society is something I want to explore and be a part of. Next to completing my graduation assignment, I hope to dive into the world of visual art and moving the first steps towards a career in that direction.’
Martina will work with Platform BK to make it easier for members to get in touch with the organization and each other, and make sure that the voices of all members can be heard on our platform.
